Tube sheet

Tubesheets are usually made from a round flat piece of metal with holes drilled for the tube ends in a precise location and pattern relative to one another. Tube sheet materials range as tube materials. Tubes are attached to the tube sheet by pneumatic or
Description
What   is  used?
Tubesheet is widely used in tubular heat exchanger, boiler, pressure vessel, steam turbine, large central air conditioning and other industries.
It is mainly used in chemical vessels, such as tubular heat exchanger, pressure vessel, boiler, condenser, central air conditioning, evaporator, desalination, and plays the role of supporting and fixing the tubular. The material of metal makes it not only has strong rigidity, but also has great heat conduction performance.
Inspection  Tube  sheet
In the inspection process of tube sheet, the main inspection indexes are hole location, hole tolerance, hole finish, burr, gouging position, etc. for double tube sheet, more attention is paid to hole location in the inspection process, and the hole location matching degree of two tube sheets is very important. Generally, it can be ensured by CNC drilling machine. Compared with thick plates, the verticality of holes above 300 mm is very important. These large-diameter thick plates need more precise tools and equipment. The application of special gantry machining center will become more and more common. The tubesheet is in contact with both fluids and so must have corrosion resistance allowances and have metalurgical and electrochemical properties appropriate for the fluids and velocities. Low carbon steel tube sheets can include a layer of a higher alloy metal bonded to the surface to provide more effective corrosion resistance without the expense of using the solid alloy. The tube hole pattern or "pitch" varies the distance from one tube to the other and angle of the tubes relative to each other and to the direction of flow. This allows the manipulation of fluid velocities and pressure drop, and provides the maximum amount of turbulance and tube surface contact for effective Heat Transfer.
